Circulation Policies
Books circulate for two (2) weeks.10¢ per day for
overdue books.
Books on cassettes circulate for two (2) weeks.

Magazines
New issue does not circulate, however, older issues
circulate for two weeks.
Renewals
Renewals may be made in person, email or over the telephone.
Videos and DVDs
A small rental fee is charged; overdue videos are $2
per item per day to a maximum of $10.

Books and magazines that circulate two weeks. Can be
renewed.

Career Corner
Books; videos; Colleges and scholarship materials; Civil
Service, GED, SAT, GRE, ASVB test materials.
Learning Express is now available
as a free service on our library website. This new service
allows you to take practice tests in hundreds of areas and
build needed basic skills in math, reading and writing.

Computers
Public computers with Internet Access are available in both
the adult and children's libraries. Users must have a valid
library card to access the computers and must register at
the circulation desk. Fee of 25¢ per sheet for printed copies;
50¢ for
color printed copies.
Historic Photo File
Local
people, places and events are available on CDV, slide,
postcard, picture and indexed in the Local Name Index File.
Large Print Materials
Books available in large print began as a gift from the
Rotary of Lock Haven. This service has been continued by the
Clinton County Community Foundation, Lock Haven Lioness
Group and State Grants.
Meeting Rooms
Edythe Hoy Bossert Gallery
Open to the public and organizations who would like to show
their creations or promote a public concept. Exhibits are
booked in advance for a complete month. Ask at the main desk
for more information on how to place an exhibit for all of
Clinton County to see.
Rebecca F. Gross Room (Community Room)
Open to all in Clinton County. Seating available for 125.
Can be divided into two separate rooms for smaller groups.
Kitchen and stage areas available. Equipment also available.
Ask at the main desk for more information on the fee
schedule.
Crocker Room
Off the Children's library. It's available periodically for
smaller group meetings of ten to fifteen people. This room
is also used for children's programming. Call 748-3484 to
schedule this room.

Local history and special requested subjects on file for
patron use.
Pennsylvania Room Collection
Local Name Index File; Photo File; Census; Old
newspapers on microfilm; Genealogies; local and state
histories.
Reference and Interlibrary loan
Ready reference is available by telephone and at the main
desk. In depth reference questions are referred to the
reference librarian. An interlibrary loan may be requested
free of charge.
