Annie Halenbake Ross Library Enters a New Century of Service

Book club will start at 10am on the 3rd floor of the Ross Library

  • July 30 - The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe
  • August 27 - Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
  • September 24 - On the Road by Jack Kerouac

Dr. Laurie Cannady will be promoting her book Crave, about experiences in a  dysfunctional family. 

The event will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 1pm on the third floor of the Ross Library. For further information or to register, please contact the Ross Library at 570-748-3321 or ross13@rosslibrary.org. 

It's been five years since historian Lou Bernard began his series of historic walking tours, and the Ross Library will be bringing them back again this year! Each tour begins at the library at 7 PM every Friday in June and July, and takes about an hour. Each tour will cover some different route or aspect of local history!

Each month Ross Library  will look at a different topic based on the BiFolkal Kits which are available for patrons to check out. Meetings are held at 11 am on 3rd Floor Ross Library in the Rebecca F. Gross Community Room.
 
July 16: "Remembering The Home Front"

Medication is useful, but it can be confusing. On Monday, July 18, at 7 PM, Amerihealth Northeast professional Melissa Farenish will be coming to the Ross Library to talk about medicine safety and usage.
