Volunteers

Volunteers

Volunteers help the library in various ways performing routine and/ or project duties.
Volunteers may be one of three types including individuals needing community service hours, high school senior or Boy Scout Eagle Project fulfillment, or concerned citizens seeking to contribute time, energy or skills.
Volunteers help librarians with research, preparing book displays, planning programs and working with children; shelving books, scrapbooking, indexing and filing; working events like the book sale, parades and preparing foods for events; withdrawing items from the collection, organizing the magazines, cleaning the patio and other outdoor activities; fund raising and advocacy.
